What Does Biden Mean?

President Biden would have us believe all is well. In fact, he just told Al Roker that “America is back.” But what does “back” mean to him, back to leading from behind? Maybe he meant back to more mandates, lockdowns ,and restrictions.

Biden continues to try to paint a rosy picture about the economy, the border, and international affairs when in fact, the rhetoric does not match the terrible reality. His policies are not working and when it comes to battling COVID-19, he is failing to shut down the virus as he promised.

For months we heard the Biden-Harris administration talk about how they had a “plan” to deal with the virus and use terms like “fiasco” to describe the previous administration. But when you look at the current state of affairs, the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of COVID-19 has been a deadly fiasco. He has no plan.

2021 is not over and already to date, the nation has tragically seen more deaths this year we saw in all of 2020, prior to having the three vaccines that came about from President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed — which the Biden campaign cast doubt on.

The Biden-Harris plan to deal with the virus is rooted in a two-pronged approach: blame President Trump and impose unconstitutional and discriminatory vaccine mandates on our nation’s workforce.

Just like the flu, there are variants of the COVID-19 strand; it mutates and we adapt. This is normal. What is not normal is the heavy-handed knee-jerk reaction from a government that wants to mandate their way out of a pandemic. It won’t work.

States like Florida, under strong Republican leadership, show that you don’t need mandates locking down the economy and restricting people from living freely. Luckily the RNC stepped in and is committed to suing Biden’s radical regime to keep these draconian mandates from hurting more Americans.

Keeping everything on the table is a refrain the Biden team likes to use so they have as many bad options as possible to impose on us. Here’s what won’t work: any attempt to shut down the economy and prevent desperately needed free flow of commerce.

All businesses, small and large, need a workforce. The demand for workers is real, as is the fear that many will lose their current job or not be able to get another job because of the federal government imposing a COVID vaccine requirement to work.

The Biden-Harris administration lied to the American people because they repeatedly vowed that there would be no vaccine mandate. Then they went ahead and enacted one anyway.

I always think about the impact of Democrat-led vaccine mandates on everyday Americans — single moms and blue-collar workers — who have already been hit hard having to now face a new year with unknown challenges. It’s not because of anything they have done wrong, but what this government does to hurt them. We have seen police officers being pushed out of their jobs, we have seen our emergency rooms forced to shut down, and even fire houses being closed as a result of Democrat vaccine mandates. Our first responders deserve better.

In one of his most brazen acts of hypocrisy, Biden imposed a travel ban on African countries in response to the latest COVID variant known as Omicron. This week the ban is set to begin with restrictions on travel from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique and Malawi.

If you used the standard set by Joe Biden last year, this would be seen as racist and xenophobic because when President Trump imposed a ban on travel during the beginning stages of COVID-19, Biden was outspokenly tweeting, “We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fearmongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency.”

Biden also fired off a tweet in March of 2020 that showed he was more interested in playing politics than being a serious politician, saying: “A wall will not stop the coronavirus. Banning all travel from Europe — or any other part of the world — will not stop it. This disease could impact every nation and any person on the planet — and we need a plan to combat it.”

I am not like Biden. I want the country to succeed and would love to be able to say this current administration is doing a great job in its first year of handling this pandemic – but data, facts, science, and the polls all show otherwise.

The Biden-Harris administration and the Democrats in power are proving to be ill prepared to handle the economy, the southern border, supply chains, domestic energy, international affairs, police reform and yes, COVID-19. The campaign is over. It is time to lead, and their plans have failed. It is time for a new plan and new leadership.
