Congresswoman Alma Adams (D-NC) sat down with Carolinian intern, Kiyana Grant, to explain the details of the recently passed,  $255 million FUTURE Act.

Rep. Adams, a two-time HBCU graduate herself, explains the importance of supporting and preserving America's Historically Black Colleges and minority serving institutions.

The interview took place on the Bennett College campus, the HBCU where Rep. Adams worked for 40 years.
