Tyson Chicken Nuggets Recalled

Limited Amounts of Tyson® Brand Frozen, Fully Cooked Chicken “Fun Nuggets”  Voluntarily Recalled | Tyson Foods

Perdue Foods has recalled 167,171 pounds of frozen chicken nuggets and tenders due to metal wire contamination. The affected products include Perdue Simply Smart Organic Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets, Perdue Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders, and Butcher Box Organic Free Fully Frozen- Cooked Breast Chicken Nuggets, all with a “best if used by” date of March 25, 2025, and establishment number P-33944. The metal wires were inadvertently introduced during manufacturing, prompting a “Class I” recall, the most serious type, though no injuries have been reported. Previous similar incidents include Tyson’s recalls in 2022 and 2019 for metal and rubber contamination, respectively. Consumers are advised to check their freezers for these recalled items, which were distributed nationwide and online, and can receive refunds by returning the products or contacting Perdue.
