An extraordinary outpouring of prayer and positive energy filled the air on Sunday afternoon, September 29th, at Lincoln Park Holiness Church. Hosted by Peggy Tatum and Melissa Wade, Spontaneous Worship was an unforgettable evening of music, inspiration, and community, sponsored by TCP Magazine and 103.9 The Light.
The event showcased a constellation of talented performers, each bringing their unique voice and passion to the stage. Andrea Peterson set the tone with a powerful praise song, followed by Laura Clemons’ soulful rendition of “He Will See You Through.” The Jubilant Gospel Singers, dressed in elegant white gowns, delivered a timeless performance that resonated with audience members of all ages.
Kimberly Michelle, a violinist since the age of seven, captivated the audience with her breathtaking vocals and instrumental skills. She sang, danced, and played the violin which truly was amazing to watch. Gene Hoskins offered a powerful message, reminding us that “the righteous shall never be forsaken,” and delivered a mix of classic and contemporary songs. Coco McMillan’s inspiring performance concluded the evening on a high note, even reconnecting her with a long-lost relative.
Pastor Eli Ratcliff Jr. brought the event to a fitting close with a heartfelt amen on the organ. We learned about the valuable work of his church, which provides meals to over 300 people three days a week. The evening was a testament to the power of music, community, and faith.
