The purpose of the Carolinian Clubbers is to bring the community closer through golf. We used to have Meadowbrook and Tee Off as places to use for community congregation and competition. Though we no longer have those courses, we still have those connections. The Carolinian Clubbers events are simply ways to reconnect us and bring us closer.
These rounds of golf are about more than birdies, bogeys and bragging rights. They are about camaraderie. They are about networking, with a side of friendly competition. They are about fresh air and exercise. The Carolinian Clubbers events are a chance to hang out, have fun and help support your community in the process.
Over the next few weeks, The Carolinian newspaper will announce locations of courses and tee times for us to go out and play nine holes on a local golf course. For every golfer that comes out to play in a Carolinian Clubber event, the golf course will make a donation to the foundation. There is no easier, or more fun way to show your support for your community.
Each week the newspaper will advertise the course and tee times available for the following week’s event. You can either call the course directly to make your tee time, or you can send Paul Ross an email at paul.ross@caro.news to coordinate it for you. If you choose to call the course directly, be sure to mention the Carolinian Clubbers when making your reservation.
