The Carolinian is the largest African-American newspaper in North Carolina. Our circulation covers 2/3 of the state, which is the most dense African-American population in NC, and our digital reach is nationwide. The Beta Lambda Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. celebrated its 12th year participating in the WRAL Coats for the Children Day of Giving, an annual community event supporting The Salvation Army’s effort to provide winter coats and essential cold-weather gear to children in need.
