As part of the event, Invision Diagnostics is offering a FREE 3D mammograms service on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will take place at Hillside High School, located at 3727 Fayetteville Road, Durham, NC 27707.

Soul City International Roots Music Festival

This festival is a homage to Reggae and world music. Festival-goers will be treated to a sensational lineup, including the entrancing and world-renowned Sona Jobarteh of Gambia, the deeply soulful Drea D'Nur of Buffalo, NY, the vibrant, daughter of soul, Jasme' Kelly, of Durham, NC, and the captivating aura of the Root Reggae Empress, Dezarie of St. Croix, who rarely tours America. Each artist brings a piece of their heritage, echoing our theme 'From Soil to Soul' Jasme’ Kelly said “the event embodies the spirit of music as a universal language that roots us to the earth and each other.” The festival will indulge attendees in more than music; it will be a cultural immersion. And don’t forget, there will be food trucks representing authentic culinary experiences.
