Our circulation covers 2/3 of the state, which is the most dense African-American population in NC, and our digital reach is nationwide. James Dargan will return to Raleigh to perform alongside NCCMI faculty in a concert that includes important and influential works by composers of color. Immediately prior to the concert (6:00pm), NCCMI will present, Conversation with the Composer! Anyone interested in how someone becomes a composer should plan to attend this interactive event. Students are especially encouraged to attend the free and informal event.
