The Carolinian is the largest African-American newspaper in North Carolina. Our circulation covers 2/3 of the state, which is the most dense African-American population in NC, and our digital reach is nationwide. In addition to spanning the state, we also span generations of readers. Networking Women of the Triangle, LLC (NWOTT), a virtual Facebook community with over 48,000 members, is pleased to announce its fifth career fair scheduled for October 3rd at Blush Cowork in Cary. NWOTT has a mission to connect, support, and inspire women in their careers and business endeavors, and has organized four successful career fairs to date.

The HBCU College Fair will be held on October 18th from 4Pm - 8Pm at the W.A. Foster Recreation Center! Come and receive meaningful information directly from HBCU representatives including assistance with college readiness and financial applications, opportunities to talk and engage with current HBCU students and graduates, as well as participate in giveaways.
On October 28, Saturday from 11AM to 3PM, the 1st annual Western Wake Children’s Business Fair will host over 100 young entrepreneurs at Cary Thomas Brooks park. This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. There will be free face painting, fairy hair, games and food.

On Sunday, November 12, 2023 Davie Street Presbyterian Church (DSPC) will commemorate its 155th church anniversary during the 11 AM work worship service. The anniversary keynote speaker is Reverend Dr. J. Oscar McCloud who served as a Minister of DSPC from 1961-1965.
