Friendship Chapel Baptist Church of Wake Forest announces the retirement of Rev. Dr. Enoch E. Holloway, Sr. after 42 years of dedicated pastoral leadership

FreeWake Forest, NC — Friendship Chapel Baptist Church of Wake Forest is pleased to announce the retirement of Rev. Dr. Enoch E. Holloway, Sr., who has faithfully served as Senior Pastor for 42 years. To honor his extraordinary leadership and impact, the church will host a series of celebratory events beginning this week.
The celebration kicks off with Revival services starting on Wednesday, September 4th, and continuing through Friday, September 6th, at 7:00 p.m. each evening. The Revival will feature inspiring sermons from Rev. Dr. Frank L. White, Rev. Dr. G.A. Jones, and Rev. Dr. Frederick Faison, providing a time of spiritual renewal in tribute to Dr. Holloway’s remarkable ministry.
On Saturday, September 7th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the church will host a Concert and Tribute event in the Friendship Chapel Baptist Church sanctuary. This special evening will include musical performances and tributes, celebrating Dr. Holloway’s enduring legacy and contributions to the church and community.
The week will conclude with a special worship service on Sunday, September 8th, at 10:00 a.m., during which Rev. Dr. Enoch E. Holloway, Sr. will be honored with Emeritus Status. This designation recognizes his outstanding service and dedication over the past four decades.
