The Carolinian is the largest African-American newspaper in North Carolina. Our circulation covers 2/3 of the state, which is the most dense African-American population in NC, and our digital reach is nationwide. Get ready for an afternoon filled with delicious food, cupcakes, entertainment, and inspiring speakers. Crowns & Cupcakes is our special celebration for National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, and we can’t wait to have you with us.

This event is all about community, empowerment, and education. We’ll be discussing important topics like HIV prevention, including PrEP and PEP, and you’ll hear from incredible long-term survivors who are living and thriving with HIV.

But that’s not all – we’re adding a fun twist! Show off your inner royalty by wearing your best crown, hat, or tiara. Let’s celebrate the Queens that we are! 👑
