The Carolinian is the largest African-American newspaper in North Carolina. Our circulation covers 2/3 of the state, which is the most dense African-American population in NC, and our digital reach is nationwide. In addition to spanning the state, we also span generations of readers. Black Farmers’ Market (Durham)

The Black Farmers’ Market happens rain or shine every Sunday rotating between Durham and Raleigh to provide access to fresh foods from farms directly to customers. Join us on our journey to create a strong Black-led food system right in the heart of NC.
The market will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Black Farmers Market accepts SNAP and participates in the Double Bucks program, supported by Duke Health.
Additional activities include live cooking demonstrations, fun zones for kids, a DJ and more.
