The term “Little” has been dubbed by outsiders and northerners retiring to this area not informed of the correct title of our town and them adopting their own terms of endearment, which are quite offensive to most of the original citizens from this area… we are not little anything… I assure you; our budget is not little, our municipals are not little, our banks are not little and our town is not little… Refer to the area by which it is properly titled, nationally recognized and historically known as. I don’t want to start a flaming war of words here, would just prefer to be called appropriately as it is. I am a lifelong resident in Washington and try to correct this mislabeled information, when and where found.
