This year’s event will be held on Saturday\, September 27\, 2025\, at 6:00 p.m. at the Dunn Community Center\, 205 Jackson Road\, Dunn\, North Carolina.\n\nThe theme of the banquet\, “A Change is Gonna Come\,” reflects the ongoing commitment to advancing civil rights and uplifting communities across Harnett County and beyond.This year’s program will feature dynamic guest speakers from the Floyd Family Center for Social Equity:\n\n• Roger Floyd\, Chief Impact Officer and Organizer of the Floyd Family Center\n• Thomas McLaurin\, Executive Director and Organizer of the Floyd Family Center\nBoth speakers bring powerful voices of advocacy\, justice\, and healing\, continuing the legacy of George Floyd and working to address systemic inequities.\n\nIn addition to the keynote presentations\, the evening will include Honorary Awards recognizing outstanding contributions to social justice\, as well as a raffle.\nTickets must be purchased in advance; no tickets will be sold at the door.
