DESCRIPTION:COULD A TEN-YEAR-OLD INVENT THE NEXT UBER? \nFind out at the Western Wake Children’s Business Fair\, showcasing children’s entrepreneurial genius! \nOn October 28\, Saturday from 11AM to 3PM\, the 1st annual Western Wake Children’s Business Fair will host over 100 young entrepreneurs at Cary Thomas Brooks park. This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. There will be free face painting\, fairy hair\, games and food. \nChildren create a product or service\, develop a brand\, build a marketing strategy\, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for the setup\, sales\, and interacting with customers. \nThis event is sponsored by the Town of Cary\, the Cary Chamber of Commerce\, and the generous support of local small businesses and volunteers\, who all believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation. \nWhether an entrepreneur is famous\, like Elon Musk or Oprah Winfrey\, or one of the thousands of unsung business owners across this country\, these entrepreneurs are the people who make sacrifices to innovate\, create jobs\, and serve their communities. \nAwards will be given to each of the two age groups: Age 7-11 and Age 12-16 for “Highest Business Potential\,” “Most Original Business Idea\,” and “Best Presentation.” \nBoth adult organizers and shockingly articulate children are available for interviews on camera or off.
